The games we serve
World of Warcraft World of Warcraft is the most played MMORPG worldwide with about 10 million players.
When creating a character in World of Warcraft, the player can choose from two factions: Alliance and Horde. Afterwards they can explore the landscape, fight monsters, perform quests, build skills, and interact with Non-Player Characters, as well as other players. Player characters can acquire various items in the game (from resources such as herbs or raw ores to items to be retrieved for quests) or they can choose to equip different weapons and armor or to customize their character or to improve abilities.
Players can level up their characters from level one to level 60, or level 70 if they have The Burning Crusade expansion. Upon release of the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, players will be able to attain level 80 after purchasing the expansion. Unlike in other games, quests are a significant tool for level advancement. Sometimes you need some extra WoW Gold to make sure that you can get the best weapons, items and armor because you don't have enough time to collect it yourself.
Lotro The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar is a MMORPG for Microsoft Windows set in a fantasy universe based upon J. R. R. Tolkien's books. It was launched in 2007 and the first expansion pack, Mines of Moria, has been announced to be released in Autumn 2008.
The game is based on, but is not limited to, The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. The main storyline (also known as the "Epic Quest Line") is set up as a series of "Books", which feature quests called "Chapters". There were initially eight Books when the game was released, with each major update adding a new Book. In LOTRO, magic is implemented in a different way than in World of Warcraft: here there are only five wizards, none of which are player controlled. Instead, there are active skills which require "power" (the equivalent of magic points). Some skills behave like magic (like healing or throwing a burning ember at an enemy), but are based on "lore". In addition, objects and artifacts are used to create effects similar to magic.
Characters obtain titles and traits by completing "deeds" in the game. Deeds can be achieved by completing multiple tasks, such as killing a set amount of monsters, using a certain ability a set number of times, completing a number of quests in a given time period or finding certain locations or unique items. Completing the task can prove to be quite difficult; as an alternative you can simply buy some LOTRO Gold on GameGoods, improve your LOTRO character and build up your LOTRO guild.
Guild Wars Guild Wars was released in 2005 and unlike other MMORPGs like World of Warcraft, it does not require a monthly fee. Up to this point, it has been sold in more than five million units.
The first game was called Guild Wars Prophecies. This is the standard game and it features 6 distinct regions, 6 unique professions and more than 200 quests. The add ons published can also be played as individual games, except for the latest add on - Guild Wars Eye of the North. You need either Guild Wars Prophecies, Fractions or Nightfall to play Eye of the North. Guild Wars 2 has already been announced.
The maximum level your Guild Wars character can reach is 20. This means that most of your Guild Wars time is spent on further improving your character with skill points. However, to improve your Guild Wars Character you need money. In Guild Wars this money is called Guild Wars Gold and Guild Wars Platinum. Once you have 1000 GW Gold, this becomes 1 platinum. Here on GameGoods we sell GW Platin which means for a small amount of money you can obtain 1000 GW Gold and more.
Eve Online EVE Online is different to other MMORPGs. Not only does it have no levels, but it doesn't have any characters, either. Instead of this, players pilot a wide array of custom-made ships through a universe comprising of over five thousand solar systems, seeking fame, fortune, and adventure. The solar systems can contain several entities including but not limited to: moons, planets, stations, asteroid belts and complexes.
Being a "persistent world", this means that EVE Online world will keep evolving even when a player has gone offline. The game world, and anything the player may have left in it, such as undocked ships, will continue to exist and will be visible to (and possibly destroyed by) other players.
Another major point is that there is only one Eve Online server - Tranquility. Every EVE Online player is on this server. The economy is mainly directed through the gamers. You can win a lot, or lose everything. The ultimate goal in EVE is power. This is either in the form of knowledge, money (ISK) or political influence. You are always dependant on Inter Stellar Kredits (ISK) in EVE Online, especially at the beginning.
If you too just don't have enough time to collect enough Eve Online ISK, GameGoods is the right place to go. Explore the whole EVE universe with enough EVE ISK.
Vanguard Vanguard: Saga of Heroes is a high fantasy-themed MMORPG set in a world called Telon. It was created by Sigil Games Online but is now developed and run by Sony Online Entertainment. The game was released at the beginning of 2007 and has sold about 242,000 copies. Like many large-scale MMORPGs, Vanguard has a monthly fee to pay for bandwidth, server maintenance, and new content.
The three continents currently present in Vanguard are: Thestra, Kojan and Qalia. The fourth, Lothenland, was not completed in time and may eventually be released in an expansion. Vanguard offers four arenas of play: Adventuring, Crafting, Diplomacy and Harvesting. The maximum level in each of the four spheres is 50. Vanguard's class system is designed for group content. All of the classes can perform one of the three major MMORPG roles: tank, healer, or damage dealer. GameGoods has all the Vanguard Online Gold you need, irrespective of whether your Vanguard character is an offensive fighter or a healer.
